CLASSIC WAVE TRINCULO

The Present & Future Plans for the Crew of
TRINCULO.
On Sunday the 24th. of May we left Wardleys YC for the Scottish Western Isles, for the summer season. A one day delay due to lack of enough water to let her out of the berth
We had a relatively uneventful trip via Douglas Isle of Man, Portpatric, Sanda Is., Gigha, Crinan and Phuilladobhrain Anchorage arriving midday in Oban Sunday 7th. June. Phil and Kev left us to return home on the Monday morning.
The following season in Scotland was generally disappointing, due to the weather. We had a very good trip up north, with fair weather a good breezes, but that was it. Then forecast were poor and the weather unreliable. Now another season has ended. TRINCULO has now returned south.
She has settled into her new permanent winter berth at Wardleys Marine YC. This was almost completed, to a standard acceptable for berthing, during the summer.
There is little work to do apart from normal maintenance so we are hoping for a quiet winter apart from completing the new berth.
Plans for next year have yet to be considered. There could be big changes!
The following week Barrie and I spent circumnavigating Mull and then we also returned home by train, leaving Trinculo on a mooring in Loch Creran under the supervision of Balcaldine Marine. The story of the voyage north is on the previous page
