ENDURANCE 40 VOYAGER 38
CLASSIC WAVE TRINCULO

The Present & Future Plans for the Crew of
TRINCULO.
TRINCULO finally departed from Glasson Basin marina on the 7th. July and set off south.
We had a very pleasant voyage south including a stop for a few days at Padstow while a gale reportedly blew outside, and got to Plymouth on 30th. July. A summery of the trip is in The Saga of 2011
We had planned to have a short stop at Plymouth to relax, take stock and pick up crew before going to the Channel Is. and France. We relaxed by sailing around Plymouth Sound viewing various anchorages, including going up the Tamar to the village of Cargreen and we had periodic visits to Plymouth Haven marina.
Just prior to reaching Plymouth it was obvious that the voyage south was not going to happen. While there Barrie and I completed a deal resulting in him owning TRINCULO outright.
Barbara, as planned, had come down for a visit so, after that, I joined her to return home and the crew we were expecting came down to join Barrie for a trip to the Channel Is.
On the Monday, 1st. August the crew, Jean, Kev and Mike, arrived as expected and the following day they sailed for the Channel Islands. Kev, in his normal role, has recorded the cruise, ‘The Channel Islands 2011’. On the 13th they returned to Plymouth and Mike and kev returned home by land.
Barrie has now sailed TRINCULO back north, with Jean and Andy, who joined them in the Channel Ils. He stayed a few weeks on the Isle of Man, mainly due to weather and has now returned to winter TRINCULO in her berth at Wardleys Yacht Club.
The future for TRINCULO is now in Barrie’s hands. The future for this web site - who knows?
I am looking into buying a share of a yacht based in Turkey or Greek waters to give me a few weeks sailing each year in warm sunny weather. I will of course be looking for crew to join me
